ABOUT THE MISSION
YMCA is so much more than a cheesy dancefloor fave. It happens to be one of the largest non-profit community service organizations in the U.S. What the YMCA does changes from city to city, so find out and tell us what your local chapter is all about, then spend a day helping them do what they do, whether it’s volunteering at an affiliated gym or helping out with community-based programs. Whatever it is you’ll be helping to build “strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.” No doubt you’ll find out it’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A. And it’s even more fun to give them $500, which you’ll get to do after you volunteer.
